Initial Setup:

   • Choose the Blade:Select the appropriate blade for your aquarium type:
     • Metal Blade:For tough algae on glass aquariums.Do not use on acrylicas it will scratch.
     • Plastic Blade:Safe for both glass and acrylic aquariums. Use with care near the gravel line to avoid scratching.
     • Soft Pad:Ideal for acrylic aquariums and for removing algae from scratches.

2. Assembly:

   • Attach the Blade:Insert the chosen blade into the scraper head. Ensure it is securely in place.
   • Adjust the Handle:The ergonomic handle allows for comfortable use in multiple positions. Adjust as needed for your cleaning task.

3. Activation:

   • Submerge the Scraper:Place the scraper in the aquarium. The scraper floats, making it easy to retrieve if dropped.

Maintenance:

1. Regular Cleaning:

   • Frequency:Use the scraper as needed to remove algae buildup. Regular use helps maintain a clean and clear aquarium.
   • Technique:Apply gentle pressure and move the scraper in a back-and-forth or circular motion to effectively remove algae. Rinse the scraper frequently in aquarium water to remove loosened algae.

2. Blade Care:

   • Rinse After Use:After each use, rinse the scraper and blades thoroughly with clean water to remove any algae and debris.
   • Storage:Store the scraper in a dry place. The handle hole allows for hanging storage.

3. Replacement:

   • Blade Replacement:Over time, the blades may wear down. Replace the blades as needed to maintain effective cleaning.Replacement cartridges, blades, and pads are available.

4. Safety Tips:

   • Avoid Scratching:Use the appropriate blade for your aquarium type to avoid scratching the surfaces.
   • Handle with Care:Retract the blade when not in use to prevent accidental injury and to protect the blade.

1. Can I use the metal blade on acrylic tanks?
   No, the metal blade should only be used on glass aquariums as it can scratch acrylic surfaces.

2. How often should I replace the blades?
   Replace the blades when they show signs of wear or reduced effectiveness.

3. Does the scraper require any special cleaning agents?
   No, the scraper is designed to be used without any soaps or detergents.

You may return most new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
