Initial Setup:

1. Preparation:

   • Calculate Dosage: Determine the amount of Seachem Flourish needed based on the volume of water in your aquarium. The standard dosage is 1 capful (5 mL) for each 250 liters (60 US gallons) of water.

2. Application:

   • Add to Aquarium: Pour the calculated dose of Seachem Flourish directly into the aquarium. For smaller doses, note that each cap thread is approximately 1 mL.
   • Frequency: Use Seachem Flourish once or twice a week to provide essential nutrients to your plants.

3. Initial Dosing:

   • New Tank Setup: Add Seachem Flourish to the aquarium when setting up a new tank to ensure that plants receive the necessary nutrients from the start.

Maintenance:

1. Regular Dosing:

   • Frequency: Continue to dose Seachem Flourish once or twice a week to maintain optimal nutrient levels for your plants.
   • Mixing: Shake the bottle well before each use to ensure even distribution of nutrients.

2. Water Changes:

   • Routine Maintenance: Perform regular water changes to maintain water quality. During water changes, continue to dose Seachem Flourish to replenish any nutrients lost.
   • Dosage: Use the standard dosage of 1 capful (5 mL) for each 250 liters (60 US gallons) of water.

3. Monitoring:

   • Plant Health: Regularly observe your plants for signs of nutrient deficiencies, such as yellowing leaves or stunted growth. Adjust the dosage of Seachem Flourish as needed based on plant health and growth.
   • Water Testing: Test your aquarium water for nutrient levels to ensure that they remain within the optimal range for plant growth.

4. Storage:

   • Keep Seachem Flourish in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Refrigeration is recommended 3 months after opening to maintain product efficacy.

   Yes, Flourish is safe for use with shrimp and other invertebrates.

2. How often should I use Flourish?
   Use Flourish once or twice a week, depending on the needs of your plants.

3. Why does the color of Flourish vary between bottles?
   The color can vary due to the temperature at which it was blended, but this does not affect its functionality.

4. Available Sizes?
   100ml, 250ml & 500ml

You may return most new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
