Flourish Iron

Initial Setup:

1. Preparation:

   • Shake Well: Before using Seachem Flourish Iron, shake the bottle well to ensure the ingredients are evenly mixed.

2. Calculate Dosage:

   • Determine Volume: Calculate the volume of water in your aquarium. The standard dosage is 1 capful (5 mL) for every 200 liters (50 US gallons) of water.

3. Application:

   • Add to Aquarium: Pour the calculated dose of Seachem Flourish Iron directly into the aquarium. For smaller doses, note that each cap thread is approximately 1 mL.
   • Frequency: Use as needed to maintain an iron concentration of about 0.10 mg/L. Test iron levels within 30 minutes of dosing to ensure proper concentration.

4. Initial Dosing:

   • New Tank Setup: Add Seachem Flourish Iron to the aquarium when setting up a new tank to provide an immediate source of iron for plants.

Maintenance:

1. Regular Dosing:

   • Frequency: Continue to dose Seachem Flourish Iron as needed to maintain optimal iron levels for your plants. Typically, this means dosing once or twice a week.
   • Mixing: Shake the bottle well before each use to ensure even distribution of nutrients.

2. Water Changes:

   • Routine Maintenance: Perform regular water changes to maintain water quality. During water changes, continue to dose Seachem Flourish Iron to replenish any iron lost.
   • Dosage: Use the standard dosage of 1 capful (5 mL) for every 200 liters (50 US gallons) of water.

3. Monitoring:

   • Test Iron Levels: Regularly test your aquarium water for iron concentrations using a reliable test kit. This helps ensure that the iron levels remain within the optimal range for plant growth.
   • Adjustments: If iron levels are too low, increase the dosage of Seachem Flourish Iron. If iron levels are too high, reduce the dosage accordingly.

4. Signs of Iron Deficiency:

   • Chlorosis: Look for yellowing of tissue between veins, particularly in new growth.
   • Stunted Growth: Observe for short and slender stems, which can indicate a lack of iron.

5. Storage:

   • Keep Seachem Flourish Iron in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Ensure the cap is tightly closed to prevent contamination.

1. Why does my Flourish Iron smell sour?
   The sour smell is normal and does not affect the product’s effectiveness.

2. Can Flourish Iron be used with other Seachem products?
   Yes, Flourish Iron can be used in conjunction with other Seachem products for comprehensive plant care.

3. How often should I dose Flourish Iron?
   Dose as needed to maintain an iron concentration of about 0.10 mg/L, typically once or twice a week.

You may return most new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
