The Powder Blue Tang, also known as the Powder Blue Surgeonfish, boasts an elegant oval body adorned with vibrant, eye-catching markings. Bright yellow highlights grace its dorsal and pectoral fins, while striking blue-black markings define its face and tail.

Tank Requirements:

• To accommodate its active nature, a spacious aquarium of 125 gallons or more is essential.
• Be cautious: the Powder Blue Tang can be extremely aggressive toward other Tangs or Surgeonfish, especially those with similar forms and colors. In smaller systems, it’s best to keep only one.

Feeding Tips:

• While the Powder Blue Tang will consume meaty foods alongside other tank inhabitants, prioritize marine-based seaweed and algae.
• Regular seaweed offerings strengthen their immune system, reduce aggression, and enhance overall health.
